Dallas Stars Casino Night
Jan 19 — More than 500 fans turned out January 19 for the 12th annual Park Place Dealerships - Dallas Stars Casino Night, raising more than $200,000 for the Dallas Stars Foundation in support of local children's charities.
"This is our marquee fund-raiser event of the year,” said Carla Rosenberg, executive director of the Dallas Stars Foundation. “It’s a great kick-off to 2010. And we had a terrific turn-out, the best to date.”

Demi Lovato buys first car from Park Place
Nov 10 — Disney star Demi Lovato turned 17 last August, but she couldn't really celebrate because she was in Canada filming Camp Rock 2 with the Jonas Brothers. The film recently wrapped and Demi returned home to her family in Colleyville. One of her first stops was to visit her uncle David De La Garza, and to pick up her first car: a new 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350.
